Professional photographer Ezequiel Scagnetti provides corporate, editorial and portrait photography services, which he carefully tailors to meet the specific needs of each client’s request.
With over 30 years of experience conceptualising and producing photographic materials of the highest quality for some of the world’s most prominent publications, companies and press agencies, he pours a wealth of expertise into each assignment.
Ezequiel Scagnetti splits his time between Buenos Aires, Argentina, and Brussels, Belgium, attending simultaneously to his clients’ needs on both sides of the Atlantic.
He began his career as a photographer in 1994 in Argentina, where his photos were published in regional and national newspapers. In 2002, he set out to establish himself in Europe. To begin with, he worked as a freelance photographer for Argentine magazines in Madrid.
It was then Europe’s vibrant institutional, political and business hub in Brussels that he chose as his base from 2003 onwards. During these 15 years living and working from his European base in Brussels, Ezequiel Scagnetti has collaborated with international photo agencies, such as Reuters, Associated Press and Reporters, among others.
He has travelled to over 80 countries on a wide range of projects, including photo reports for the European and American press, as chief photographer accompanying the European Union electoral observation missions (East Timor, Mali, Paraguay, Tunisia, Sudan, Colombia and Tanzania), as well as on his own creative explorations.
In 2006, he was commissioned as the official portrait photographer for European Commission President Jose Manuel Barroso. He has also led seminars and workshops on photojournalism at higher education institutions in Belgium.
In 2012, he founded in Brussels his own company that specialises in corporate, institutional and editorial photography, along with video and graphic design services. Clients include the European Commission, Siemens, Procter & Gamble, Knauf Insulation, Mostra Communication, Party of European Socialists, Der Spiegel, Geo magazine, Stern, Financial Times, National Geographic, Forest Value, Hard Rock Cafe, to name but a few.
His photographic projects have been on show in solo and collective exhibitions in Argentina, Belgium, France, England, Hungary and Germany.
In 2018, Ezequiel Scagnetti returned to Argentina, where he now dedicates his time to corporate photography, portraits and his own Fine Art Collection.
He is trained in the latest photography, video production and editing technologies. He also has experience managing projects and client relations in Spanish, French and English.
